The DOWNTOWN MANAGEMENT DISTRICT Celebrates ARTROCK in DTOWN
CORPUS CHRISTI , Texas , January 20, 2006 - Rock music is the red-headed stepchild of the art world. But this month, the Downtown Management District is kicking down the doors of the establishment and celebrating ARTROCK. House of Rock is hosting the popular local band SCARECROW PEOPLE and showcasing artists that pay tribute to musical legends. Identity Theft Solutions will display the winners of the YWCA and IBC Bank Martin Luther King, Jr. poster contest. Other venues include:

ARTWalk is a bi-monthly event brought to the community through the efforts of the Corpus Christi Downtown Management District, downtown businesses and local artists. Held on the last Thursday of every other month, ARTWalk was designed to place regional artists in downtown venues to exhibit their art while enabling business owners to familiarize their products with the general public.
